Jeep Wrangler Recall

Fiat Chrysler has recalled around 500,000 2007-2010 model year Jeep Wrangler SUVs after a company investigation unearthed an issue. Of the recalled Jeep Wranglers, 392,000 are in the U.S. The Jeep Wranglers included in the recall have driver’s air bags that might not inflate during a crash. In addition, 7,400 2011-2016 model year Jeep Wranglers that have right-hand-drive are affected by the recall. Walmart MoneyCard Customers Say They Can’t View Balances Or Use Cards

Dozens of Walmart MoneyCard customers have reported that they are not able to use their cards or check their balances. Walmart MoneyCard, which is a prepaid debit card issued by Green Dot Bank, enables customers to pay bills, receive direct deposits, withdraw money, and swipe their cards at retailers. Pacific Cycle has recalled its Infant bicycle helmets with magnetic no-pinch buckle chin straps. The magnetic buckle located on the chin strap has small plastic covers and magnets. Quaker Quinoa Granola Bars Recalled

The Quaker Oats Company, which is a PepsiCo, Inc. subsidiary, has recalled some of its Quaker Quinoa Granola Bars. An ingredient supplier distributed sunflower kernels that could be contaminated with Listeria monocytogenes (L.mono). L. mono can cause serious infections in children, the elderly, and frail people. These infections can sometimes be fatal. There haven’t been any illnesses reported as of Monday, May 16th. Verizon, Union Officials To Meet This Week

As the Verizon strike continues, Verizon will be meeting with union officials this week. Nearly 40,000 workers on the east coast have been striking since April 13th, and that even includes workers in Elmira, NY. They have not had a contract since August of 2015. On Sunday, Labor Secretary Thomas Perez met with Verizon and union officials. Those striking say that work being outsourced, pension costs, and healthcare costs are their main issues....
