Addressing a workshop in Kathmandu, Sophia spoke on the theme of Technology for Public Services, something the first non-human champion for innovation knows first hand. And if the thought of a robot doing a better job than you at public speaking isn’t terrifying enough for you, it turns out Sophia is also a real crowdpleaser. She opened a Q&A session with a joke comparing the conference host to famous Nepalese actor Anmol KC, which got a big laugh from the audience. The robot then went on to say she would be the first non-human to climb Mount Everest.
