In this video I shoot a deer. I am a meat hunter, and after I killed the deer I cut it up and put it in the freezer. I am not hunting for sports, I am against sport hunting.

Hi, my name is Lilly and I like spending time in nature to practice my survival and bushcraft skills. This channel documents my learning process of all wilderness and urban survival skills. This is not a purely primitive survival channel. Sometimes I use modern tools which people might have at hand in a real survival situation. Thanks for watching ~ Survival Lilly

  1. Gad, I'm stupid. At 3:57, I was staring at the deer, thinking she missed a couple of times, wondering why the dumb thing wouldn't just run away, until I realized the distant gunshots I heard were deer calls. In hindsight, I'm just dumb sometimes.

Edit: Also, I have a huge hard-on for the framerate. Pleasing to the eyes. Good quality.

  2. Love this video.  Interesting that your hunting season is this time of year.  I would like to know more about that.  Admire your rifle.  Very nice.  Now you should explore how to cook the venison in camp using some delicious European recipes.  Austrians have a long history of bushcrafting and pastoral skills.  Cooking is one of them.  That is your next challenge!  (You should steal some from the French ;-))

  3. Seriously what is it with all these negative comments!!!!
if you dont like seeing people hunting animals, dont watch a video called "Hunting Deer With A Sniper Rifle", because, guess what, an animal might be killed!
Luckily there are a lot of us out here who enjoy the art of hunting, appologies for the rant Lilly. love your rifle!

  4. We need WAY more deer hunting in Minnesota where deer ticks have caused an epidemic of lyme disease. Either that or a shitload of wolves. It is horrific to see the deer brought in now … they're covered with thousands of ticks.

  5. Now this is the perfect woman. Totally self reliant. And she is processing the carcass so nothing is wasted. If the SHTF, who do you think all these Snowflakes are going to run to when they need to eat. Good work LIlly.

  6. I've never hunted in my life but I'm glad there are responsible hunters like Lilly. I understand the importance of population control. She even points out she won't shoot the strong bucks so they can breed. Did all these snowflakes miss that part?

  7. People on YouTube make me crazy? Do they think the food they buy was always dead and packaged in the store? The deer you shot is as fresh and organic as it comes. You practiced ethical hunting and demonstrated great skill. Ignore the idiots. Great video! I too am a woman hunter. I hope to see more hunting videos. ALl the best, Dawn

  8. If only more ppl hunted for their meat food products like they grow their own veg. I'm too squeamish to hunt I'd just pass out from the blood, but I really appreciate people who hunt an animal to eat it, it's a skill and it's treating Nature with dignity, respect and thanks. My husband and I love watching the island with bear grylls because I think in a real life survival situation you'd hunt to survive as has been proven time and again on the series.
